TERMS & CONDITIONS

Upon scheduling an appointment at KK Studio, clients are therefore agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below:

 

  • KK Studio reserves the right to decline any treatment if we deem it to be inappropriate or have the potential to cause harm.

 

  • KK Studio expects clients to make staff aware of any specific allergies or skin conditions prior to treatment.

 

  • The duration (length of service) that KK Studio has listed alongside each service is solely for guidance. The service may last longer or shorter depending on various of factors including, but not limited to, the conditions of your nails and the complexity of the treatment.

 

  • KK Studio uses a third-party reservation software to process customer appointments. The third party may request an online deposit using a credit or debit card to secure an appointment.

 

  • KK Studio reserves the right to ask for a deposit for appointments made online, over the phone or within our salon. The deposit will not exceed 25% of the sales value. Deposits are non-refundable and non-negotiable. 

 

  • KK Studio expects clients to be available and ready for their appointment 5-10 minutes before their scheduled service.

 

  • Client cancellations or changes to appointments (with a deposit) must be made no less than an hour before the scheduled service. Cancellations are non-refundable. Rescheduled appointments will be subjected to availability and the deposit forwarded onto the new service.

 

  • Refunds/repairs are to our discretion. Generally, defects caused within a week are repaired free, however defects thought to be caused by the client will not be repaired for free (i.e., non-refundable).

 

  • KK Studio reserves the right to the cancellation of service due to late arrivals. KK Studio will consider the cancellation by deciding on factors such as, but not limited to, the duration of lateness, the reason for lateness and the technician/(s) availability.

 

  • KK Studio is not responsible for the clients’ personal belongings. Clients are to ensure their belongings are kept safe and with them at all times. 

Expectations & Recommendations

  • Maintenance of treatments - it is recommended that clients regularly schedule appointments to help keep their nails strong, long and fresh looking. Overdue treatments will give rise to chipping of the polish and/or the clients nails – so regular upkeep is important. Clients should expect nail enhancements to gradually wear-off with time. Extensive exposure to water or cleaning chemicals increases the likelihood in the lifting of the nail enhancements. Thus, we recommend regular treatments.

 

  • The long wear of nail polish is dependent on wear & tear clients should expect it to chip or peel. Regular polishes MAY last up to 2 days and whilst Gel/Shellac polishes are guaranteed to last up to 7 days, but this is solely for polishes offered by KK Studio – this is not applicable to products brought in by the client. Whilst KK Studio uses professional certified products to prolong the life of polishes - chipping or peeling may still occur. Nail enhancements should never be self-removed by the client, as this can result in damage to the natural nails. Clients should make an appointment for the safe removal and re-application of nail polish upon chipping or peeling at KK Studio. 

 

  • KK Studio recommends treatments every two weeks for the best upkeep and maintenance of all treatments, see price list for our cost of service.
